Introduction

Better Lives programs are supported by public donations and the Wade Family Charitable Foundation.

We believe that children have a better chance of growing up healthy and educated when they live in a supportive environment, so that they can eventually earn an income and support a happy and healthy family of their own.

For this reason, we support local development activities that help create income opportunities for disadvantaged families while also improving the health and education of of their children.

We closely collaborate with local partners to implement projects that align with our Health, Education and Jobs programs. This approach has enabled us to help children on three continents, at twenty seven schools in seven school districts. For example, in Tanzania we support feeding school breakfast to approximately 4,000 children every morning.

Our team of full and part-time development consultants, with local partners, have a far reach. They support programs and projects with funds and on-site assistance in seven countries. The following pages summarize the type of support they provide in each country, and share a few stories.
